How to Subscribe to a Course/Learning Material?

There are 2 types of course/learning material in MyHomeTuition.com - the Standard Course/Learning Material which is FREE and the Premium Course/Learning Material which you need to pay to get access to it.

To subscribe to any courses/learning notes, you need to sign up as a user, be it the FREE Standard or the Premium Courses/Learning Material. The followings are the steps to guide you to subscribe to a course/learning notes in MyHomeTuition.com

Step 1: Sign Up as User

Click on the "Sign Up" button at the upper right corner to access to the sign up form.
Fill in all the information requested. Check the checkbox to agree with the terms of services, and then click “sign up”.
You must provide your real email address or else you are not able to activate your user account.

Step 2: Confirm by e-mail

After submitting the sign up form, a page will appear to ask you to activate your account.
Go to your email service provider’s page and log into your email account.
Go to the inbox. Look for the activation email sending by us. (Usually, the email will arrive at your inbox within 1 minute. If you do not receive the email in 2 minutes, click on the spam(or junk) folder to look for the activation email. This is because, sometime, your email service provider may misplace the email into the spam (or junk) mail box.)
After opening the email, click on the link provided to activate your account.

Step 3: Log in.

After activating your account, you will be directed to the log in page.
Key in your username and password, and then click “log in”.

Step 4: Search for the Course/Learning Material you are interested.

Now you are in your personal page. Click on the drop down menu to look for the courses you are interested in. (NOTE: almost all the standard courses/learning notes are FREE.)
You can also search for the courses by entering the keyword into the search box and click "Search".

Step 5: Add the Courses/Learning Materials into the Shopping Cart

After selecting the course/learning material, you may add them into the shopping cart.
Adding a course/learning material into a shopping cart is not equal to subscribing to the course/learning material. The course/learning material will not be shown in your "My Course" list as long as you do not checkout the cart. You can remove the course/learning material from the cart at anytime as long as you do not checkout the cart.
After adding the course/learning material into the cart, you can continue your search for more courses/learning material and again add them into the cart.
The course/learning material in your cart will remain in the cart and is saved under your user account as long as you do not remove them or check out the cart.

Step 6: Checkout Your Cart

To check out a cart means to add the courses/learning material in your cart into your "My Course" list so that you are able get access to it. The followings are the steps to checkout the standard courses and the premium courses.

Checkout Standard Courses/Learning Material (FREE)

Since the standard courses are free, hence you don't need to have any prepaid cash in your account to checkout.
Simply click "Checkout" and confirm, all the courses/learning material will be added into your "My Courses" list.

Checkout Premium Courses/Learning Material

You need to pay a fee to get access to the premium courses/learning material.
MyHomeTuition.com work on prepayment system. Which means you need to deposit some cash into your account before you can checkout your premium courses/learning material. (Click here to learn how to deposit/reload cash into your account.)
After deposit/reload cash into your account, yo may checkout your premium courses/learning material just by clicking on the "Checkout" button.
Check the item in the list and the price carefully, check on the check-box to agree with the terms of service and confirm your checkout.

2. What are the differences between the standard courses and premium courses?

The standard courses are free but have relatively less features and content compare with the premium courses.

3. How to subscribe to a course/learning material?

In order to subscribe to a course, you must first sign up to become a user.
After signing up and activating your account, you can search and add courses into your cart.
After that, checkout the cart.
The courses will be added into your "My Courses" list.
Click on "My Courses" to access to the courses.

Refund

1. Can I request for Refund?

Since MyHomeTuition.com is offering irrevocable services, we do not issue refunds after the product is delivered. You are responsible for understanding upon purchasing any services at our site. Please make sure that you've carefully read the 'terms and conditions of use' section and access the free trial to experience the real course before purchasing.

Multiple Access and Reselling

1. Can I resell the course to other parties?

No. Only the subscriber is allowed to access the course.

2. Can I share the course with other parties?

No. Only the registered individual is allowed to access the course. MyHomeTuition.com reserves the right to freeze your account if we found that the account is shared by more than 1 user. The account will be freezed immediately if more than 1 user tries to log in to the same account at the same time. Therefore you are advised not to expose your password to anybody.

Security
1. I am not able to log in to my account. I was told that my account was suspended. Why?

In order to protect your account, the account will be freezed automatically if there are more than 1 user log in from different computers or from one computer but different browser at the same time. Therefore, it's important not to expose your user id and password to other party.

2. How do I reactivate the suspended account?

You can write an email to us (support@myhometuition.com) to describe your problem. Our staff will reset your account as soon as possible. After logging in to your account again, you are advised to change your password immediately.

1. What is the benefits of subscribing to MyHomeTuition Email Learning Notes?

The major benefit of subscribing to the newsletter is you can receive free learning material such as formula list, short notes and the news about tuition broadcast from time to time. Other than that, you can also receive the information about the latest promotional item and the latest published courses.

2. How do I subscribe to the e-mail learning notes?

You subscribe to the e-mail learning notes once you signed up as a user in MyHomeTuition.com or MyhomeTuition forum. You can also subscribe to the list directly from our email learning notes page.

3. Can I unsubscribe from the e-mail learning notes?

Yes, you can unsubscribe from the e-mail learning notes by following the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the e-mail.

4. I can't find the confirmation email. What should I do?

Possibility 1: Sometime, your email service provider (especially Yahoo Mail) may misplace the confirmation email into the spam or junk mail box. Look for the confirmation email in your spam or junk mail box if you do not receive the confirmation email within 2 minutes.
Possibility 2: It's also possible that you have given a wrong email address. If this is the case, try to subscribe again by using a correct email address.
Possibility 3: Your email service provider (especially Yahoo mail) have temporally hold the email. Therefore, you need to wait for a few hours for the mail to arrive to your inbox.
If you still can't find the conformation email, email to us at support@myhometuition.com, tell us your email address and describe your problem (Example: I can't find the confirmation email after subscribing to the "email learning notes".).

5. Why don't I receive the email notes even though I have confirmed my subscription?

This is probably because your email service provider (Especially Yahoo Mail) has misplaced our email into the spam or junk mail box.
Look for the mail in the spam or junk mail box and then tell your service provider this is not spam.
Lastly, add our email address list@myhometuition.com into your address book to avoid our future email sent drop into the spam or junk mail box again.

How to Save Your Transaction Slip?

If you have made a payment through Onine Banking Transfer, you need to email (or fax) the transfer slip to us. This article shows you how to screen capture the slip, save it as an image file and then email it to us.

Here are the steps:

1. After you have done the transfer, click "Print Receipt" to print the transaction slip.
2. A window will pop to allow you to print the receipt. Click "cancel" to cancel printing.

3. After you have closed the "print window", click anywhere on the receipt (to select the window" and then press "Alt" "PrtScn" keys simultaneously. This is to capture the image of the receipt into your clipboard.

4. Now, the image of the receipt is already in your clipboard. You can paste it into any text editing software (such as Microsoft Words) or image editing software (such as Microsoft paint). I'll show you how to paste it into Microsoft Paint. Click on the "Start" button on the lower left corner of your screen, select "all programs", "Accessories", "Paint" to open Microsoft Paint.

5. Go to "edit" and then click "paste" to paste the image your receipt into Microsoft Paint. (Alternatively, you may press the shortcut keys "Control" "V" on the keyboard simultaneously to paste the image of your receipt into Microsoft Paint.)

6. Click "Save as" to save the file into the location you want. (The default file type is "Bitmap". I suggest you to change it to "gif" because the file size is much smaller.)
7. Open your email and attach the file into your email.
8. Send the email to us at support@myhometuition.com.
9. Log in to your account at MyHomeTuition.com, click on "buy credit" "Other Payment Methods" and then fill in the particular.
10. Credits will be loaded into your account once the transaction is successful. We will send you an email and SMS (If you provide your Hand Phone Number) to notify you.
